University of Missouri - School of Medicine offers an exciting and informative summer experience for high school students interested in a career in medicine.  MU’s High School Mini Medical School is a one-week program that gives students a preview of life as an MU medical student.   

UMSL Bridge Summer Academy: Currently recruiting for the  2018 Summer Academy, a free, four-week program for currently enrolled 9th and 10th grade students. The Academy gives students a head start in their college preparation through academic enrichment courses in mathematics, science, writing, speaking, career research, and professional development. Academy for Pianists - June 4-8, 2018
The University of Tulsa 2018 Academy for Pianists is open to intermediate to advanced level piano students, grades 9-12. Students will work with TU piano faculty and attend seminars, workshops and presentations designed to equip pianists with the necessary skills for a career in music, or to simply enrich their lives through music performance and informed listening. The 2018 camp will feature guest artists, Danny and DeAnna Calhoun.

Summer Jazz Camp - July 8-14, 2018
The educational focus of the camp will be based on a curriculum encompassing jazz theory & ear training, jazz improvisation, jazz history, jazz performance (big band, combo, guitar ensemble, vocal), and group lessons and master classes. Open to all students 9th grade through college.

Vocal & Choral Camp - July 30-August 3, 2018
This 5-day summer camp is for high school-aged singers who love vocal and choral music. TU vocal faculty along with guest artists will guide students in the preparation of classical solos appropriate for auditions and contests as well as in semi-staged operatic scenes. The choral portion will feature choral repertoire selected for this camp, including All-State mixed choral music preparation for the coming academic year.

Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge is an innovative program that enables undergraduates to take challenging courses and conduct advanced research with the guidance of top TU professors. Washington  University in St. Louis / ALLEX Foundation
The WUSTL-ALLEX Intensive Chinese and Japanese Institute will offer intensive beginning level classes in Japanese and Mandarin Chinese at Washington University in St. Louis for seven weeks this summer. Each class meets for 2 hours per day, 5 days a week for 7 weeks. The course is intensive and requires 3-5 hours of mandatory self-managed study per day.  This program is designed to train students to speak and listen to Chinese or Japanese, and to introduce students to reading and writing the language. 
Students will learn to speak and perform correctly in a variety of social situations.
