Welcome back to another amazing school year – ready or not! J I hope that you have been able to spend some much-deserved time relaxing and preparing to hit the ground running, like always. For those of you who may not know me, my name is Ashley Jeffers, and I am the newest member of the Office of Professional and Student Affairs (OPSA) at SIUE’s School of Pharmacy! I am one of the academic advisors for our current SIUE pre-pharmacy students and professional student pharmacists. I am also happy to serve as a connection point for any prospective student potentially interested in Pharmacy as a career. As we all know, the decision-making process for future careers and higher education starts as early as middle school (wow!). With that in mind, I want to make sure to always provide opportunities to learn more about our great program here at SIUE. Please see attached and below for the scoop on both our outstanding program and the career of Pharmacy in general.

*      Think your student may be a good fit for Pharmacy and want to articulate to them why they should consider this field? Here are 10 reasons to become a pharmacist! They can also learn more about this rewarding, trusted, and secure profession at

*      Does your student qualify for our “saved seat” Conditional Entry Program? Visit our direct entry page to learn more. Also, see the “CEP Info Sheet” attached.
