Board of Education approves 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school calendars

The Mehlville Board of Education approved the calendars for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years at its December 14 meeting.

The first day of school for the 2024-2025 school year is Monday, August 19, 2024. The last day of school is prior to Memorial Day on Friday, May 23, 2025, dependent on snow days.

The first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year is Monday, August 18, 2025. The last day of school is prior to Memorial Day on Friday, May 22, 2026, dependent on snow days.
The district has approval from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to provide virtual instruction on up to five days each year. When our campuses close due to winter or inclement weather, students will log in to their Chromebooks and connect with teachers from the safety of their homes. If we use all five virtual learning days, we will use traditional snow/inclement weather days. Traditional snow days must be made up at the end of the school year.
The school calendars are created by the district’s Calendar Committee, using feedback from parents, students and staff.
