Mehlville School District plans to ‘Fill up the Pickup’ to help end hunger

The week of October 7-11, 2024, schools throughout Mehlville School District will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items. The efforts are part of Fill Up the Pickup, a grassroots food collection that started in Oakville during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Mehlville Board of Education unanimously approved the hiring of two assistant principals for the 2024-2025 school year: Sarah Gray at Mehlville High School and Emilee Madlinger at Oakville High School.

Oakville High School is part of Mehlville School District. POG The Mehlville School District mission is to build a high-performing school system rooted in the community's desire to build a culture of improvement for staff and students. Mehlville School District believes that all of our graduates should be creative and critical thinkers, self-aware, persistent, communicators, and ethical and global. We call this our Portrait of a Graduate.

Located in south St. Louis County, Mehlville School District encompasses all or part of the unincorporated communities of Mehlville, Oakville, Concord and Lemay. Through its dedication to providing institutional excellence, fiscal responsibility and community benefit, our fully accredited district serves the educational needs of about 10,000 children in a community of about 96,000 residents within 42 square miles.
