STLCC offers two training pathways for assembly mechanic jobs at Boeing. The training is free and ideal for those who are mechanically inclined and able to pass pre-screening assessments.
Not only will you develop the important technical skills and the soft skills (like teamwork and communication) that Boeing seeks, as a graduate, you will be guaranteed an interview with Boeing.
This program is being offered to
SECOND SEMESTER HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS. Please see the attached flyer for details.
As part of the process for enrollment into the training we are requiring the following from all HS Senior applicants:
• Submit a resume to
[email protected] with the subject line that reads “Boeing HS Class.”
Deadline for resume submission is November 4, 2022. Note: Resumes do not have to be a formal, however they should include any hobbies that show mechanical aptitude.
• Attend mandatory information session; We are offering sessions throughout the month of October.
Students under the age of 18 must bring a parent/guardian. Applicants under the age of 18 may enroll into the course, however to be offered a job with the Boeing company they must be 18 or older.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from high school faculty; signed by a teacher, counselor or principal.
This letter must state that there is no risk of the student not graduating, no disciplinary issues, and that the school recognizes the student as a good candidate.
• Pass WorkKeys assessments; Boeing’s minimum requirement scores for Applied Math – 4, Workplace Documents – 5, and Graphic Literacy – 4.
If your school provides students with the opportunity to take WorkKeys they are welcome to provide us with their scores for review.
• Pass Layout/Measuring assessment
This final step may only be completed once a student has successfully completed the requirements listed above. Applicants will be given a study guide prior to taking this assessment.
