We are happy to announce that High School Mini-Med School at the University of Missouri Columbia is returning this June for two sessions. Session I runs from June 19, 2022 – June 23, 2022, and Session II runs from June 26, 2022- June 30, 2022.
This five-day overnight camp is for Missouri high school rising seniors who are interested in a career in medicine. Students will attend lectures and do the same Patient Based Learning (PBL) curriculum that our medical students do. We will have a lot of hands-on experiences, and social events in the evenings. This is a great experience for anyone who is considering medical school after college.
The cost for this camp is $650 which includes all the camp fees, lodging, and food for five days. There are some scholarships available, and the application is free to complete.
The application opens on February 7, 2022, and is due March 11, 2022, along with a transcript and science teacher recommendation from the school and the teachers respectively.
