ACT Testing

What is the ACT?
The ACT is an entrance exam used by many colleges/universities to make decisions about admission, scholarships, and class placement. The ACT is multiple-choice and consists of 4 subtests: English, Math, Reading, and Science. There is also an optional writing portion.
The standard cost of the test is $68.00 ($93.00 if you choose to take the writing test). Students may sign up for the ACT by going to my.act.org and either signing into an existing account or creating a new account.
Students who are enrolled in the Free/Reduced Lunch program are eligible for a fee waiver. These students may have 4 fee waivers throughout high school. Fee waivers can be picked up in the Counseling Office. Test Preparation:

Students preparing to take the ACT or SAT can use Learning Express Library for test prep. Students can login by either clicking the link above or going to the Library Canvas Page and clicking on "Databases". Once there, select "Learning Express" and login using your school Google Account.  Please let the Librarians know if you have any questions!

ACT provides free test prep as well.  Students may access those materials on the ACT Website

Students wanting additional help with the math subtest can also access materials through Khan Academy
