Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

Eligibility Requirements:  Students must be enrolled in a business class both semesters of current school year.

Time Commitment:  Depends on the commitment level of each individual, see sponsor with specific questions. 

Description:  FBLA is a co-curricular career and technical student organization.  Members are enrolled in business class including Cooperative Occupational Education.  The mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.  District, state and national leadership conference and academic competition are additional opportunities.  FBLA is an integral part of the instructional program and in addition promotes community service and personal responsibility.   

Membership Limit:  Must be enrolled in a Business Education course for the entire school year.

Events Sponsored:  Activities include service projects such as Forest Park Forever, Council on Aging, and MRE’s for Kingdom House and participating in all aspects of FBLA competitions.
